We are the Whittemore bees! We are buzzing about being:

RESPONSIBLE

Being responsible means being dependable, making good choices, and taking care of yourself and others.  

RESPECT

Respect means showing you care about how your words and actions affect others.  

Being READY

Ready means thinking ahead and being prepared.

IDENTITY 

Identity means knowing who you are and sharing it with others. 

LISTENING 

Listening means hearing the ideas of your classmates and being open to new perspectives. 

EMPATHY 

Empathy means understanding how others feel and caring for those around you.

PERSEVERANCE 

Perseverance means trying your best and sticking with tasks, even when they are difficult. It means being proud of the effort you put in, no matter the outcome.  

INTEGRITY

Integrity means being honest and knowing the difference between right and wrong. It means choosing to do the right thing, even when it’s difficult. 

JUSTICE 

Justice means making sure everyone is treated fairly. It means making sure everyone has what they need in a situation and upholding what is fair and right.

COLLABORATION 

Collaboration means working together toward a common goal in a kind and respectful way.

ACTION

Action means doing something to make a change or to stand up for what you believe is right. 

That is what it means to be a Whittemore bee!
