Our apologies for the delay in posting the route sheets.

Changes to routes are highlighted in yellow on the posted route sheets.  Revisions may be necessary for some routes as student enrollments are still in progress.

As we prepare for the start of the new school year, we want to provide you with important information regarding some of the more significant changes.

Waltham High School

  • Due to safety issues with the new traffic signal configuration at the TOTTEN POND RD / LEXINGTON ST intersection, students residing in the shaded area of map below in green (extends beyond the area) are permitted to access bus stops on routes H112 and H113.

  • The area shaded in orange indicates addresses that are walkers crossing at the BEAVER ST / LEXINGTON ST intersection.

Crescent St Waltham

  • A temporary bus route H103 will service students at addresses between LAKE ST and TRAPELO RD impacted by the Lexington Street MWRA Project project.

Kennedy Middle School

  • Temporary bus stops have been added to routes K204 and route K207 to service students at addresses between LAKE ST and TRAPELO RD impacted by the Lexington Street MWRA Project project.

Waltham Valor High School

  • Route VH201 services students attending the Waltham Valor High School located at 617 Lexington Street.

Dual Language Elementary School

  • Bus routes were reconfigured for the school move to 617 Lexington Street.

  • Mini buses for routes D300 and D301 were combined to create a new route on a large bus route D301.

  • Stops were added or changed on all routes.

Stanley Elementary School

  • Routes S326 and S328 are now serviced by mini buses and S327 remains on a large bus. 

  • Bus routes and stops were reconfigured to create efficiencies with the timing of the routes.

We understand that new routes, road construction, new traffic patterns, and other changes this school year can be challenging and we want to assure you that we are committed to ensuring the best possible transportation experience for our students. Your patience, understanding, and cooperation are invaluable as we navigate through these temporary challenges together.

The first few weeks of a new school year are hectic. Please have your children at the bus stop at least 5 minutes before the posted route start time as the bus may be running a few minutes early or late as the drivers are becoming familiar with the stops and students.
