Narrative:This course introduces students to the fundamentals of basic meal planning and food preparation. Students will use a wide variety of cooking and food preparation techniques, focusing on the skills necessary to live on your own. Units will include, breakfast; lunch; breads and desserts. Culture and its impact on food will be explored.
