troduce students to the world of retailing and how to apply that knowledge to real world situations. Students will study the elements that comprise the retail mix, including types of retailers, store-based, e-commerce, consumer buying behavior, retail marketing strategies, selecting retail site locations, supply chain management, merchandising, pricing, store management, store layout & design, customer service and the travel and tourism industry. They will gain hands-on experience in the WHS Hawks Nest store utilizing the knowledge gained from classroom instruction to operate the school store.
