On Tuesday February 7, parents who attended the Latino Parent Coffee had the opportunity to learn about ways to support math learning at home. Math Coach Andrea LaGala taught parents several math activities that students could play at home.

On the first Tuesday of each month, Bilingual Family & Community Engagement Specialist Paula Mendoza hosts a Latino Parent Coffee. Families can enjoy some coffee and breakfast while learning about important aspects of their student's education. Parents have an opportunity to share and ask questions, as well as learn about a specific Theme of the Month.
El primer martes de cada mes, Paula Mendoza, Especialista Bilingüe de Participación Familiar y Comunitaria, organiza un Café para Padres Latinos. Las familias pueden disfrutar de un café y desayuno mientras aprenden sobre aspectos importantes de la educación de sus estudiantes.
